History: Many years ago, the planet Krypton (located in our Solar System), burned like a green star in the endless heavens. Here, civilization was far advanced, it had brought forth the race of supermen, men and women like ourselves, but advanced to the absolute peak of human perfection. Jor-El, Krypton's leading man of science, came to the conclusion that Krypton was going to be destroyed. After his studies were ridiculed by the Kryptonian council members, Jor-El decided to go forth and build a spacecraft. However, the day came too soon and he only had finished a model. However, he and his wife Lara decided that their son would go in the prototype. After it was launched, Krypton was destroyed, and the rocket landed in Smallville and the baby was trapped inside. Eben Kent, a local farmer, was driving around the road with his wife Sarah and saw the rocket crash. The rocket was burning, but Eben quickly rescued the child from the flames. The rocket exploded, leaving no trace of its existence.
Eben and Sarah named the boy Clark and raised him until he was a full-grown adult. While he was a youngster, he took the identity of Superboy. After Eben died from a fatal heart attack, Clark decided that the best way to use his powers was to assume a double identity (just as he did during his time as Superboy). His mother made a costume out of the blankets in which Clark was wrapped in when Eben rescued him from the exploding rocket (this costume was the same one he used as Superboy) and he went to Metropolis to become a reporter on a great Metropolitan newspaper.
Despite being somewhat timid, Clark Kent is mildly assertive and authoritative during situations when he is not Superman. He frequently takes charge in emergencies and is not afraid to take reasonable risks. When he becomes Superman, he drops the timidity, but keeps the authoritative attitude. He is also quite fond of children. He can sometimes be seen talking warmly to them and giving them advice.
Equipment: N/A
Powers: Super strength, super-vision (x-ray vision, telescopic vision, microscopic vision), invulnerability, flight, super-speed, super-breath, super-senses, super-voice, super-intellect. On occasion, he can separate his molecules to walk through walls, isolate a particular voice over multiple telephone lines long distance while flying, become invisible, and split in two while retaining his traditional powers, but he uses these powers quite rarely.
Skills: Clark Kent is a very good reporter, leader and tactician. He has a reputation as being a problem solver. He is also a very good hand-to-hand combatant and martial artist. He manages to differ his fighting style as Superman and Kent. As Kent, he uses martial arts techniques like judo throws and hand chops. As Superman, he mainly uses his fists.
Weaknesses: Green Kryptonite can kill Superman, Red Kryptonite affects him in bizarre ways, Gold Kryptonite takes away his powers. Superman's invulnerability does not protect him against magic.
Trivia (optional):
-He likes to tease Lois Lane a lot.
-He's 6' tall as Superboy, 6'1" as Superman.
-Superboy will be used for flashbacks unless Clark is deaged by some device over the course of the plot.
