Name: Quickstrike, Double Punch
Alter Ego: Q.S. Coltrane (Quickstrike), D.P. Hogg (Double Punch)
Race: Velocitronian (both of them)
Faction: Velocitronian Police
Theme Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hekqzcveud4
Voiced by: James Best (Quickstrike) and Sorrell Booke (Double Punch)
Image/Appearance:
QUICKSTRIKE (ROBOT FORM)
QUICKSTRIKE (HUMAN FORM)
DOUBLE PUNCH (ROBOT FORM)
DOUBLE PUNCH (HUMAN FORM)
DOUBLE PUNCH AND QUICKSTRIKE (HUMAN FORM, "RUNNIN' AWAY FROM OVERRIDE" DISGUISE)
History: Double Punch, constantly called "little fat buddy" by his incompetent sheriff and brother-in-law Quickstrike, is the wealthiest man in Velocitron. Quickstrike constantly helps him in his ineffectual "get-rich-quick" schemes.
Double Punch could be considered the personification of the seven deadly sins, though greed and gluttony are the most notable ones that he showcases. Double Punch will do almost anything to get his hands on more money, including executing many nefarious and criminal schemes. However, he does not tolerate anyone (even his enemies) getting physically hurt in the process.
Quickstrike is somewhat corrupt, but he's driven mostly by playful childlike naivety. These two guys are ineffectual bad guys - hence amusing.
Equipment: Guns (Quickstrike), Pincers (Double Punch, even though he rarely uses them)
Powers: Quickstrike, like every Velocitronian, is quite fast in vehicle mode. Double Punch... not so much due to not having a vehicle mode as well as his girth.
Skills: Double Punch has a great strategic mind, always coming up with various "get rich quick" schemes. Quickstrike is an adept driver and racer, but he's somewhat clumsy and incompetent.
Weaknesses: Their schemes constantly fail, so Double Punch can constantly be found comically moping about the latest failure. Quickstrike is quite clumsy, which plays against him constantly.
Trivia (optional):
-Quickstrike and Double Punch are based on Sheriff Rosco and Boss Hogg from "The Dukes of Hazzard".
-Quickstrike has a little dog named Flash, who he tends to take with him when he's on patrol.
-Whenever they're around, the story is narrated by a balladeer, ala Dukes of Hazzard. The balladeer doesn't do anything other than narrate and give amusing comments.
-Quickstrike is 6'1" tall in human form. Double Punch is 5'6".
