COLLINGS
AGENT VENOM
History: Major Terence Collings is a SHIELD Agent and a US Marine who has been honored for his bravery in battle.
Before he was fired from the Bugle and basically replaced with his ex-girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker did an interview with Collings and they became close friends. Collings is basically Peter's main contact at the Marines and provides him with information whenever Peter needs it.
After the interview, Collings returned to the battlefield in the war in Vietnam, and lost his legs after saving his partner from enemy forces. Collings' sacrifice is enough to earn him a recommendation for the Medal of Honor. He returned to the United States and started dating SHIELD agent Teresa Durand (in reality, Peter Parker's sister).
Collings went through the so-called "stages of grief" backwards, even so far as to use dangerous experimental procedures to regain his legs, but seemed to come to terms with his condition, thanks to the support of his friends and family. Teresa in particular took good care of Collings and basically became his rehabilitation trainer.
Collings was then enlisted as a part of Project Rebirth 2.0. Collings was bonded with a symbiote armor, recently acquired by the U.S. government. While bonded, Collings was able to reproduce his legs and had powers comparable to Spider-Man.
Equipment: Multi-Gun developed for Agent Venom by SHIELD. Agent Venom symbiote armor.
Powers:
Superhuman Strength - Once they merged, the armor added superhuman strength to Collings' vast human strength. However, his full strength often fluctuates.
Superhuman Durability - The armor is highly resistant to physical injury, capable of withstanding assault from high-caliber bullets as well as attacks from super powered individuals.
Superhuman Stamina - The armor is also capable of surviving in harmful areas for long periods of time such as underwater or in toxic gases, the symbiote filtering breathable air to the host.
Regenerative Healing Factor - Additionally, the armor is capable of healing injuries in the host at a faster rate than normal human healing allows.
Genetic Memory - The armor possesses some psychic ability, making it capable of obtaining information from its hosts and even other people and symbiotes simply by touch.
Wall-Crawling - The armor also replicates Spider-Man's ability to cling to walls by controlling the flux of inter-atomic attraction between molecular boundary layers.
Webbing Generation - The armor can shoot strands of symbiote substance in the form of "webbing" at high pressure up to a distance of 70 feet.
Body Chemistry Manipulation - The armor has the ability to directly effect the neurochemical functions within its host in order to induce various psychological effects, such as calmness, sleep, or even memory suppression.
Telepathy - Due to the armor being bases on Klyntar symbiotes, it can communicate both psionically and biochemically with the host.
Constituent-Matter Generation - The armor can also use the same substance comprising the symbiote in the form of constituent black matter or goo, and uses it in this method for lethal force against criminals.
Constituent-Matter Manipulation - The armor regularly displays the ability to morph sections of Agent Venom's body, such as his hands or feet, into spikes, blades, axes or a shield.
ESP (Spider-Sense) - The armor also possesses an extrasensory ability similar to Spider-Man's spider-sense.
Camouflage Capabilities - The armor is capable of mimicking the appearance of any form of clothing, camouflaging with its surroundings, and even mimicking other people.
Shapeshifting - The armor allows the user shape-shifting abilities.
Skills: Skilled Marksman, Skilled Combatant, Advanced Marine Training
Weaknesses: Mortal. The symbiote armor can actually be weakened by sonics and intense heat, just like a real symbiote.
Trivia (optional):
-He's 6'3" tall.
