History: Max Eisenhardt was exposed to the bitter sting of discrimination long before he discovered his mutant gifts. He spent many of his formative years in the Auschwitz prison camp in Poland, under the harsh and tyrannical rule of the Nazis, and was the only survivor in his family. Max served in the Sonderkommando while there. The Sonderkommando was the squad of Jewish men who were forced to help their Nazi masters run the gas chambers, ovens, and fire pits of the camp. Being forced to commit these horrors was the birth of a deep hatred in Max's heart. One night, completely by surprise, the super soldier known as Captain America broke into the prison camp and liberated the boy and the other survivors. While attempting the escape, Max was able to save the survivors by using his powers to deflect grenades thrown by the guards. After his liberation, he vowed to himself and the world that he would never allow himself or his kind to be persecuted again.
Years later, under the alias of Erik Lensherr he met a young mutant telepath by the name of Charles Xavier. The two were instant friends, both realizing that humanity's mutation was the wave of the future, and that they needed to nurture it. However, the two friends differed greatly in their methods, with Xavier believing that human-mutant peace was possible, and Erik believing that mutants must rule the planet in order to prevent being persecuted. For a while they managed to ignore their differences, and worked together to develop the Cerebro system. But things would soon change. Erik found himself unable to continue to follow Charles' path, partially due to their inability to help his own Daughter Wanda, as well as his growing far and paranoia. Erik committed Wanda, gave Pietro up for adoption and disappeared for a while.
He resurfaced sometime later under the guise of Magneto, the Master of Magnetism. His mutant cronies in tow with several new additions as his Brotherhood of Mutants. They clashed with the X-Men many times with neither side gaining ground until Magneto held the world's information network at ransom. The X-Men couldn't risk action as Magneto held society at ransom, asking for only one thing: For the human Government of Genosha to abandon the Island and it's mutates and give him complete control as the new ruling body. The world was forced to agree.
Magneto now works hard on Genosha, turning it from a land of oppression to a haven for mutants. The mutates are getting help, no longer modified to be slaves, regaining their mutant identities(in this case Genoshian Mutates were genetically altered to be slave labor) and somehow Magneto has even regained his youth. He is planning to expand his influence by any means now. After all, the rest of the world is not yet safe. He has found after the merger his Polaris ad Quicksilver are different. Both are loyal and on his side...and are also older. Not one to argue, Magneto has taken his next step. He has activated the M Sentinel's. The same as normal Sentinels, but looking like Magneto's armor and programmed to attack anyone WITHOUT an X-Gene, he is stepping up in this new world.
Equipment: Magneto's Helmet: Magneto's helmet is built to shield his mind from psychic probes and manipulation.
Armor: The costume that Magneto wears is actually a type of armor that he has created through the use of his magnetic powers. The costume is actually an amalgam of various lightweight, but highly durable, metallic alloys that further protect him from physical injury. He can also use different metals surrounding him to enhance his armor, making it as strong as Tony Stark's Iron Man Armor.

Magnetokinesis: Magneto has comprehensive control over all forms of magnetism and utilizes that control to manipulate ferrous metals and achieve a variety of effects. Magneto can manipulate an entire planet's electromagnetic field, though such a task that requires great effort on his part. Magneto has harnessed magnetism to stop armies, raise islands from ocean floors, move mountains, change the course of rivers, and threaten to devastate the world with floods and earthquakes. Magneto once blanketed the entire globe with a self-generated electromagnetic pulse that caused widespread devastation. Moreover, he can use his magnetic powers in more than one way simultaneously. He can completely assemble a complicated machine within seconds through his powers. It is unclear whether Magneto's power is psionic or purely physiological in nature.
Magnetic Force-Fields: Magneto usually protects himself with a personal force field that he can quickly expand to protect large areas. His force field has withstood the effects of multiple nuclear weapons, volcanic eruptions, the depths of space and attacks from multiple Avengers or X-Men. Magneto can also use his force fields to hit or trap an enemy, and also levitate objects and beings in the air.
Magnetic Armor: In addition to the obvious external force fields, Magneto can reinforce the metallic fibers of his uniform with magnetic fields, making his clothing like armor with a durability approaching adamantium. He can resist punches from superhumanly strong foes and not only survive but remain conscious.
Magnetic Rays: Magneto has the ability to shoot powerful rays and electromagnetic pulses, and has shown this ability to destroy both metallic and nonmetallic objects.
Magnetic Flight: Magneto is also capable of sustaining flight for very long distances and at varying speeds. Magneto interlaces with magnetic field lines in his immediate surroundings rather than along it. However, in order to travel in space, Magneto requires and is limited by the interior capacity of his force field to breathe.
Geomagnetic Link: Magneto's x-gene plays an important role in mediating tactile perception to Earth's Electro-Magnetic Field. As it is effected, so is he. He knows instinctively all that happens to it.
Gravity Reduction: Magneto's control over the magnetic and electromagnetic force is so refined that he can shut off gravity within a limited radius of himself by reversing the polarity of the earth's own magnetic field.
