Image/Appearance:
History: Wanda grew up with her father and her twin brother, Pietro in New York City. When she developed her mutant powers at an early age, her father decided to commit her to an institution, as he didn't have the time to deal with a hostile, out-of-control child whose powers were very destructive if she didn't get her put away. Even though he ignored her pleads, Wanda cried to her father not to leave her there. Wanda spent years there, harboring a deep-seated anger and hatred for both her father and brother.
At some point, she started taking sessions with Charles Xavier to help her learn to control her powerful mutant abilities, but he was unable to reach her at the time, though he did managed to get her declared sane and thus leave the institution. She revealed he world, pondering her next move. Part of her wanted to find her father, Magneto, and her brother Pietro and see them both pay for abandoning her. But she began to realize she was free of them now.
So she began to travel the world and take in the sights and form a plan for her future. She made it to Greece when Magneto returned into her life. He reached out, asking her to forgive him, and to join him. Wanda took all of 5 seconds to blast him back. She was attacked but was saved thanks to Xavier. Wanda then began to realize she would never be free unless she took a stand. She finally took up Xavier's offer, out of convince more than anything.
Wanda has seen what the changes have done in the merger. A Convergence of two Marvel realms has displaced certain people, like her Pietro is now replaced by an older, jerkier version of him. She is studying this phenomenon in order to deal with it.
Equipment: None
Powers: Wanda's unique mutant ability allows her to harness and manipulate the force of probability. Her power, already dangerous in its own right, is easily tainted by her anger and fury, making her all the more deadly. She can interfere with other mutants' powers, causing them to go haywire, temporarily remove them, rendering the mutant powerless, or cause attacks to rebound back at the attacker. She can manifest 'hex bolts' as auras of red energy, allowing her to trap opponents and disrupt energy fields, like her father's magnetic force fields.
She can generally cause bad luck for people, making them trip or drop things when under the influence of her powers. Wanda's powers also affect inanimate objects - she can cause things to break, combust, explode, heat up, move (sometimes to accomplish a specific goal in a manner similar to telekinesis) and even come to life, like using street lights to bind her foes like tendrils.
Some worry her powers have the potential to warp reality itself. Some fear that if Wanda gets mad enough such a thing could happen. (OOC: This is merely an allusion for now. If and when this is explored, it will be for plot reasons.)
Skill: Wanda can pick locks...when she's trying to be subtle.
Weaknesses: Wanda must have free usage of her hands in order to use her powers, as she uses a lot of hand and finger motions to channel them.
Trivia:
- She has been seen crying, possibly over her Pietro.
- She thinks her Lorna is different too, she is glad Zaladane is missing...
- Wanda wants to meet Raven.
