History: Johnny Franco was just a young man in his late teens in 1941, dreaming of becoming a country music star when he heard about the Pearl harbor bombing. His father, Jacob was stationed there. Sadly he did not survive the ordeal. Johnny, in his grief was so stressed out that his latent mutant powers triggered, lashing out at his truck with a telekinetic wave, totaling it. When the call to arms came, Johnny realized if he could just get onto the battlefield, he could make a difference with these new powers and maybe get a sense of payback.
On his way to get registered he saw two young men accosting an old man, who just happened to be of Japanese descent. This angered Johnny as he knew the man, he was American born and bred. He got in the way, and when they tried to attack him, he used his powers to push them back. This garnered the Government's notice, and Johnny was brought in. He explained himself and they decided to let him fight. But since others of power was taking stage, they asked him to create a costume and a name, that way he could inspire hope in people, like the Human Torch and Captain America. Johnny designed his suit and took the moniker of the All American Kid, and joined the All Winners Squa,. He used his powers to give him the illusion of Super Strength and durability, in order to save his full force for something dire.
That something came about when the Red Skull unleashed a canister filled with his death dust in Paris. Johnny used his mental powers to collect the cloud into a Telekinetic bubble and flew as high as he could. He used all his force to fling the cloud into space, which left him open to a missile attack. It seemingly killed him as there was no sign of him. For decades his friends thought him dead.
Except he wasn't, the Entity pulled him into our time, saving his life. Now Johnny is coping with a new world, an uglier America than the one he left behind, full of corruption and bigotry. But this only fuels him onward. He joined the X-Men, where he remains after the Merger, trying to fight for what is right.
Equipment: None
Powers: Telekinetically Enhanced Condition: A variation of TK where Johnny focuses primarily on physically augmenting all his biological functions (i.e. strength, speed, durability, etc.) to superhuman levels into order to better complement his physical fighting styles. This also works in conjunction with TK Force barriers applied to a skin layer enabling a protective force armor used to manipulate objects that are on the same surface as him (such as the ground) or to fly by pushing their own body through the air (this usually requires effort though.)
He can 'lift' about 60 tons this way and can take several blows from Namor before his barrier drops.
Concussive Blasts: The ability to project psychokinetic energies as powerful blast beams directed from the brain that could apparently affect matter with concussive force. Users can project this energy from the hands and others parts of the body. Johnny got good at making it look like his punches could total a tank, but it was really a strong concussive blast shooting out from his fist.
Force Fields: The ability to create protective force shields that could deflect even the most powerful of attacks (even filter bacteria from the air). There does not appear to be any correlation between field strength and the thickness of the psychokinetic fields. Johnny was skilled enough to use force fields to collect and contain a large quantity of the Red Skulls Death Dust afire it into space harmlessly.
Flight: An extremely skilled telekinetic is able to fly through the air via telekinesis, and even maintain the objects he or she has telekinetic control over simultaneously while in midair. Johnny could "carry' a German tank with his TK while flying, His max speed was 70 mph
Skill: Johnny was trained by the US Marine Corp to fight. He was later shown moves from Captain America himself. He is also a talented singer, song writer, and guitarist.
Weaknesses: Is unused to projecting his TK outside of force fields and blasts. Cannot do any controlled lifting yet.
Trivia:
- He remembers waking up in the late 2010's. He guesses the merger of the two Marvel Realms into this one kinda...reset time somehow.
