Name: Minerva, Marie Benson
Alter Ego: Minerva Benson
Race: Autobot/Human Autobot (Minerva), Human (Marie)
Faction: Protectors
Theme Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqad_ud3vow
Voiced by: Janet Waldo (Minerva) and Gloria McMillan (Marie)
Image/Appearance:
MINERVA (ROBOT MODE)
MINERVA (VEHICLE MODE)
MINERVA (HUMAN FORM)
MARIE (REGULAR APPEARANCE)
MARIE (EXO-SUIT)
History: Minerva was the youngest child of Rook and Jumpstream. After training on Cybertron under the tutelage of Protectobot First Aid, Minerva was assigned to continue her field training on Earth. Heading for the Autobot base, Minerva crash landed off course in Quebec. While there, she met a young human girl named Marie, and they instantly became friends. She has since become equally comfortable hanging out with humans as her fellow Autobot Protectors. Tragedy struck when her older brother Evac was killed by Deluge. This shattered Minerva so deeply that she has a tendency to doubt herself a lot. She was then captured and tortured by Deluge, but she was then rescued by her parents, with the help of Nightbeat, Smokescreen, Daytonus and Arcee. It took some time for Minerva to admit her feelings towards the tough, battle-hardened Autobot Detective Nightbeat due to her shyness, but after she told him about how much she loved him, he was quite receptive toward her and the two have been dating ever since.
Minerva is a very friendly, easy-going and charming girl. Her sweetness and upbeat attitude really inspire her fellow Protectors. However, she also suffers from self-confidence problems due to the loss of her brother Evac. She also doesn't like to use violence, but if one of her friends or any innocent beings are threatened, she will bravely face any threats, no matter how big they are. Minerva and Marie are pretty much the same in personality, and they always use youthful remarks when they talk (like "Golly", "Gee", "Jeepers", etc.). However, Marie is a lot more sassier and confident than Minerva is, and she encourages her whenever she is feeling down. In her own words, Marie is "engaged to become engaged" to marry Nicky, although her father doesn't approve of this relationship because of Nicky's clumsiness and stupidity. He once said "I don't allow any animals in my house aside from my daughter's idiotic boyfriend".
Principal Benson, Marie's father, very reluctantly adopted Minerva as a daughter after Marie kept insisting and insisting (hence why she decided to go by the last name "Benson" in her human form).
Equipment: Shock Blaster (Minerva), Stun Guns, Sais
Powers: Minerva's Shock Blaster can stun an enemy long enough for her to engage. Marie's exo-suit increases her abilities, which means that with it, she can take on any enemy unit.
Skills: Although not a full-fledged medic, Minerva is pretty handy with medical tools. She also inherited her mother's ability with Sais. Both Minerva and Marie are excellent tap-dancers and ballerinas.
Weaknesses: Minerva's self-esteem problems and disdain for war can sometimes play against her effectiveness. Her strength is somewhat average, which makes her quite vulnerable in a fistfight.
Trivia (optional):
-Minerva is 5'4" tall in human form. Marie is 5'4" as well.
