History: Tula was born the sister to Prince Orm on their Father's side, making her the Step sister to Sea King (Earth-III Aquaman) via Marriage. She grew up the favorite of the two, with Arthur seeing much potential in her over her less aggressive brother. so much so that she became leader of the Drift and was train in Atlantean magics at the Conservation of Sorcery. She met Garth, Sea King's ward, Torrent during this time and the two became a couple. While Garth was dim and brutish, Tula found enough redeeming qualities in him to form a stable relationship.
But as ranks grew her eyes wandered to Kid Quick, Wally West, Torrent's closest friend. The two began a torrid affair that ended badly with Torrent walking in on them. To save face Tula accused Wally of raping her, which drove Torrent into a murderous rage that needed in Wally being forced to kill Garth to stay alive. Angry and herself, but putting all the blame on Wally, she told Sea King that Wally had betrayed them and forced himself on her, leading to Garth's end. Wally fled to Earth-1, and the Atlanteans pressured Owlman and Ultraman to allow them to pursue him, especially in light of Johnny Quick's death, as they lost the one reason to spare him.
Shortly before the fusion Torrent attacked Jokester and Hero Joker. Jokester was forced to attack her and shot her three shots in the gut with armor piercing rounds he was saving for Grid or Silver Cyclone. She nearly died, but was found and healed by Owlman.
Equipment: Her armor is strong enough to stop NORMAL Bullets.
Powers:
Atlantean Physiology: Tula is an Atlantean, born from the same father as King Orm. Atlanteans, although human, have through scientific and sorcerous means developed several abilities which allow them to live comfortably under the sea:
Breathe underwater: All Atlanteans are capable of surviving the aquatic atmosphere under the sea. Some accomplish this without the presence of visible gills.
Temperature resilience: Resistant to low temperatures and the effects of freezing, although notably hindered by high temperatures.
Durability: Dense flesh, although not invulnerable. Can hold onto a shark without being torn up by the barbed texture. Can take blows from soemoen as strong as Wonder Girl with minor bruising.
Superhuman Speed: She is also seen swimming fast enough to out pace a cloud of choking mist underwater, doing so allowed her to save Mera and strike back at her attackers.
Superhuman Strength: Tula can crush large crabs, stab into armored opponents, drive her fingers into helmets and tear bars off cell doors.
Atlantean sorcery: Tula studied in advanced classes at the Conservatory of Sorcery.
Hydrokinesis: Tula has the ability to manipulate water due to her teachings at the Conservatory of Sorcery.
Electricity generation: Tula can generate electricity and project it from her hands.
Skills: Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Tula is a trained captain of the Atlantean military.
Leadership: Tula is the former leader of a subversive group of soldiers in the Atlantean military called The Drift. While membership of this group changes frequently, Tula, even now, is still adept in leading these men and women both above and beneath the sea. Tula expects that most enemies will come to Atlantis from the land so she trains her soldiers for combat on the surface.
Stealth: The Drift, which Tula lead, is a group of subtle soldiers which are used for secretive measures in defense of Atlantis. She prefers to stay back and sneak up on her opponents rather than charging in.
Swimming: Tula, like all Atlanteans, is an adept swimmer. During combat she uses the tides to outpace her larger opponents and this style of combat is still useful above water.
Weaponry: As a trained soldier, Tula knows how to use Atlantean weaponry such as spears and pikes.
Marine Life Communication: Tula can communicate with Sea Life mentally. She prefers to take command of sharks and lead them into battle. This has earned her the alias of the Shark Queen.
Weaknesses: Atlanteans suffer from lack of exposure to water. At first they weaken, but over time it puts their health at risk.
Trivia:
- Owlman knows she's lying, but she admires her for pulling it off.
- She did love Garth. He just wasn't too exciting in certain areas.
- She now has three gunshot scars on her belly.
