Skeletor:
History: Skeletor, half-brother to King Randor known as Keldor failed to kill the Council of Elders who ruled over Eternia for many centuries. Jealous of his brother's success and bringing fame and power to himself, and learning he was being passed over due to his being a Gar halfbreed, Keldor left in self-imposed exile to gather knowledge of magic and build up his forces. Along his way he learned of magic from Hordak, one of the top agents of the Galactic threat known as the Horde. Keldor joined his ranks, planning to use him until he learned all he could.
Along his travels he meets Beast Man, who is a notorious killer on the Berserker Islands, and is initially defeated by Beast Man. Keldor and Beast Man were captured by the royal guards of those islands and brought to the king to be cooked as a meal. The two break out of the prison and manage to end up in the arena where the two fight off the guards. Keldor saves Beast Man's life by way of using his new magical powers. Beast Man follows Keldor mainly out of fear. His ranks would grow, adding Triclops, Trap Jaw, Evil-Lyn and more to his ranks.
During on duel with Randor, Keldor attempted to throw a vial of acid in his face, but it bounced off of Randor's shield back into his own face. Keldor was taken from the battlefield in agony by Evil-Lyn and brought before Hordak, who saved Keldor from death due to the severity of the acid burns, turning him into a Lich. With this change came a new lack of humanity, gone was Keldor, and his place: Skeletor. Skekeltor later betrayed Hordak when the two kidnapped his infant niece, Adora, letting it slip to Randor where Hordak and Adora was. Hordak was forced though a portal to far away Etheria and out of Skeletor's life. Witht he horde Gone, Skeletor set up shop in Snake Mountain and began to attempt to take Castle Grayskull in order to absorb it's powers. Little did he know the sword of his ancestor, King Greyskull, was passed to his nephew, Adam, who would become He-Man, his new nemesis (though it seems Adam has no clue of his blood ties to Skeletor).
Later on, Skeletor would have sent a creature into a vortex to attack the Earth to draw in its mightiest hero. Superman ended up in the magical vortex and ended up on Eternia where he tried to fight Skeletor but was mind controlled by Skeletor's magic. He used Superman to try to break into the castle and take the magical power for himself. But He-Man helped Superman break free and was defeated by the two heroes, but revenge does not die. Skeletor eventually found a means to send him to Earth, seeking payback and new sources of power. Together with his Evil Warriors, he intends to take over Earth as well as Eternia.
He has entered a pact with the Wizard Malkil and Lord Zedd to take over Earth for themselves. Working together, Skeletor hopes to take over all.
Equipment: He is usually armed with a magical weapon called the Havoc Staff; a long pole crowned with a small replica of a ram's skull and a crystal ball embedded within. He can discharge bolts of mystic force from the head of the staff, or use it as a focus for more powerful forms of magic. Sometimes Skeletor displays the ability to discharge energy from his own body, one time casting lightning from his hands, and another time when he projects energy from his fingertips and even his eye sockets. His abilities, when in conjunction with his Havoc Staff seem nearly unlimited in scope and highly potent in raw power.
He also wields two swords he created with his own power, twisted demonic replica's of He-Man's sword of power. Fueled by dark magic they prove to be more that equal in might to Adam's sword (Excluding any ties to the power of Greyskull that is)
Powers: Skeletor possesses an array of mystic powers that seem to vary depending on the situation, however it is certain that he is an extremely powerful sorcerer with control over a vast range of dark magical powers. He also possesses considerable scientific skill, and is shown to have skill in creating various machines and devices. A notable skill is Skeletor's ability to instantly transport himself back to Snake Mountain, usually by saying "I'm going back to Snake Mountain"
Skills: He also displays many other skills, such as the ability to teleport himself and others over vast distances, send telepathic commands to his minions, open gateways between dimensions or perform remote viewing. He has also shown himself to be a gifted swordsman. As a master of the mystic arts he is also privy to much secret knowledge about the universe.
Weaknesses: Despite his occasional bungling actions and personality, Skeletor is extremely cunning and intelligent but with a sense of hubris that invariably leads to his downfall.
Trivia (optional):
- Papyrus and Skullmageddon confuses him.
- Wishes Lord Zedd would shut up about his family BS.
