History: Eben and Sarah Kent were driving around the road when suddenly, an object fell from the sky. It was a rocket ship. After it crashed, Eben went to check on it and heard the cries of a baby. He bravely threw dirt at the flames and took the baby out of the rocket. Sarah saw that neither the baby nor the blankets, which were made from a very strange material, were scorched or burned. The Kents decided to raise the baby and they named him Clark.
While Clark lived with his foster parents in Smallville, Sarah made a suit out of the red and blue blankets in which Clark was wrapped in when Eben took him out of the burning rocket. He decided to have a double identity, so he became Superboy during his time at Smallville until he finished his studies.
Clark's life at Smallville ended when Eben suffered a heart attack and passed away shortly afterwards. After that, he decided to go to Metropolis and find a job at a great Metropolitan newspaper.

Trivia (optional):
-The names of the Kent parents were actually taken from George Lowther's novelization of Superman's origin story, which would later be adapted in the 1948 live-action serial and the 1950s TV show. The radio show also adapted this origin when it first ran on Mutual, but that version of the origin is lost in the mists of time.
-Eben was 5'11" tall.
