May:
Hero Mode:
History: May Lee first took action during The King of Fighters 2001 as one of the many students of Kim Kaphwan, and has idolized him and Jhun Hoon ever since she could remember. One day, while training, she hears word of the King of Fighters tournament. As always, Team Korea (composed of Chang Koehan, Choi Bounge, Jhun Hoon, and team captain Kim Kaphwan) are set to enter.
However, Jhun injures his neck and back in a street accident, and May is required to replace him as a member of Team Korea. Kim suggests that she also keep an eye on her teammates, former criminals Chang Koehan and Choi Bounge. This suits Chang and Choi, as May, unlike Kim, does not feel the need to physically punish them on a regular basis.
Despite her inexperience, May surprises the audience with her unique Taekwondo style in the tournament. Kim and the others are also surprised by her achievements, and she soon gains much praise. After the tournament ends, May returns to South Korea along with her partners, and are celebrated as heroes for ending the menace of the evil NESTS cartel that was at work behind the tournament.
In The King of Fighters 2002 Tourney, May Lee is cast out from Team Korea as the tournament is a three-member team fight and May therefore finds a space with Mai Shiranui and Yuri Sakazaki. When the merger happened she took up arms, fighting crime until she was approached by a manw ho told her to visit the Narumi Dtective Agency. There she became an ally of Kamen Rider W, Build and their team.
Equipment: Her belt, which glows in Hero mode. She also whips out goggles and a red scarf while in it.
Powers:
"Justice" Chi Manipulation: Due to extensive training and strong spiritual belief and willpower, May Lee can channel her Ki into giving her power during a state she calls Hero Mode. In this mode her strength moves up to class 14 and she can run up to 200 mph. She is durable enough on her own to take blows from men 3 times her size. In Hero Mode she could tank a punch strong enough to punch through a car door.
Electric Punch: During her Hero Mode, she can deliver punches of electric energy. She does this by amplifying her body's natural electric charge with Ki.
Explosive Kick: During her Hero Mode, she can deliver exploding kicks via ki channeling. This has an effect similar to a Rider Kick in form and force.
Teleportation: She has limited short range teleporting. This is usually done to alter her direction of attack mid combo.
Skills: Mastery of Tae Kwon Do, mixed with attacks taken right out of Tokusatsu. Hero Style Tae Kwon Do she calls it. She is also a skilled gymnist, acrobat and cyclist.
Weaknesses: She is still inexperienced. If Hero Mode wears off she is wiped for some time.
Trivia (optional):
- The man who direct her to Shotaro had a white fedora..
- She missed Kim and the others.
- She wants her own proper Rider belt..
